Health and Safety Statement

Cascade Drilling, Inc.’s goal is to build a safety culture that is second to none, without sacrificing the quality, production, service, and dependability upon which our reputation stands. Our first priority is the safety of our employees, clients, families, and the general public.

We are always searching for solutions to improve safety and provide continuous training for our employees and customers on the latest safety enhancements.

We offer regular safety summits to our customers to help them identify safety concerns on drill rigs and work sites. At these summits we demonstrate how we have engineered out potential hazards on our rigs and what safety items they should be aware of on any rig at any project. These demonstrations are lead by our Drill Rig Operators who are individually responsible for the safety and training of their team.

Cascade Drilling hired Mike Thomas, CSP, as Corporate Safety Manager several years ago to ensure our goals are met. Mike has almost 30 years experience in the petroleum industry, of which, 25 years were as a safety professional. Mike has worked as a safety specialist at a large petroleum research facility, as an environmental specialist for a pipelines and terminal division, as a regional safety and environmental trainer, and as a safety manager. We also have safety officers at each of our locations who provide constant field training and safety implementation.
