DIRECT PUSH DRILLING RIGS
USE: Direct push drilling is less intrusive and much faster than many other subsurface investigation techniques. Investigation derived wastes (IDW) is nearly eliminated, significantly lowering overall project cost. Direct Push is used for grab soil and water sampling, setting small diameter monitoring wells, and piezometers. It is also the most cost-efficient manner to inject in-situ remediation solutions. Stainless steel injection rods are available for installation of corrosive chemicals.
Cascade Drilling maintains a diverse fleet of new and cutting edge Geoprobe® and other Direct Push rigs. We have truck mounted and rubber-track mounted rigs. We have full size and limited access rigs; rigs for rough terrain and rigs that can work inside small buildings and basements.
Our new and late model Geoprobe® and AMS rigs are the most powerful in the
environmental drilling industry. Probes are mounted on a variety of one-ton dual wheel, four wheel drive, tracked and limited access vehicles. All are equipped to push soil and groundwater sampling probes, collect water samples using on-board peristaltic pumps, and set monitoring wells (where allowed). Several are capable of angle drilling, auger drilling up to 12.25" OD borings, and/or low overhead conditions. In optimal subsurface conditions, probes have reached depths in excess of 245 feet.
